Diana Weisner, Executive Director
Diana Weisner hails from Long Island, NY. She graduated with Honors from Temple University with a Dual-Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and English. Diana has held positions in the publishing industry, marketing, and university residential life and admissions. Diana was the graduate extern at AEC in 2007, while she completed her Masters in Community Arts and Youth Development at Lesley University. She began her role as the Executive Director in July of 2009. Diana's hobbies are storytelling and writing.

Eric Love, LARP Program Director
Eric is an awarded professional fine and performing artist. Love has been teaching art, music, technology, science, theater, martial arts, self development through awareness and civility through empowerment over the last 1.5 decades. Over the last 8 years, through an amalgamation of these subjects, Love has discovered an original educational curriculum which has been titled by its students the "L.A.R.P. Adventure Program" which is one of AEC's most popular programs. This is just one of several other subjects Love teaches. Outside of AEC, Love works as a private life coach, fine artist / designer and musician.

Jeana Paolino, Site Coordinator
Jeana graduated from Northeastern University where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Sociology. As a lifetime member of Girl Scouts, she has received both her Silver and Gold Awards. Jeana discovered her passion for working with youth as a religious educator during her senior year in high school. While in college, she volunteered as an art mentor for the United South End Settlement’s Artful Transformations Program. At AEC, Jeana has created an enrichment workshop called Cre8tive Corner where she teaches arts and crafts.

David Vishniac(Vish), Educator
Dave is a 2009 graduate of Franklin Pierce University where he majored in Mass Communications. He was the Sports Director for the Pierce Media Group in the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication for two years, as well as a writer and managing editor for the University's newspapers and a radio talk show host. In addition he gained extensive radio play-by-play experience broadcasting Franklin Pierce Athletics. He began working with kids in 2006 when he was a counselor for Arlington Recreation sports camps. Currently, Dave volunteers at Arlington Community Media, Inc., where he has taught television production at middle school camps the last two summers. He also is a cameraman and producer for various ACMi television shows.

Evan Driscoll, Educator
Evan has been with AEC since 2008, he works in collaboration with Eric to conduct and develop the LARP program. He specializes in working with program development in Dungeons & Dragons and catering to the youth who may need a gaming outlet. He is currently enrolled at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, majoring in Environmental Studies.

Kelsey Craig, Educator
Kelsey has been with AEC since Spring 2010. She began her work at AEC as an intern, and then was hired as an Educator in Fall 2010. Kelsey graduated from Lesley University in May 2011 with a Bachelors in Counseling. She currently runs AEC's baking class and developed the Tobacco Awareness Peer Leaders Program that was sponsored by the Sanborn Foundation in 2011. Kelsey is currently pusuring advanced schooling to advance a career in counseling.

 

In addition to these staff members, we also have an internship program in collaboration with Lesley University, as well as a homework support volunteer program with Arlington High School. We are looking to expand our staff and hiring group leaders who may have a background in the arts, sciences, or technology.

Board members, Cindy Starks, Laurie Smith, Jerri Newman, and Anita Wolf will continue to serve and be attentive to the needs of AEC and its students ongoing.
